Sir Alex Ferguson has said Manchester United will "definitely not" be making any signings in the January transfer window.
Sir Alex Ferguson won't be buying in January
United, the current Premier League leaders, have been linked with moves
for a number of players in recent weeks - with Borussia Dortmund striker
Robert Lewandowski and Arsenal winger Theo Walcott both consistently
tipped for a switch to Old Trafford in 2013.
But Ferguson has denied he has any plans to tinker with his squad once the winter transfer window opens.
"I will not be bringing anybody in, in January, definitely not," Ferguson told the Mail on Sunday.
The return of Nemanja Vidic - a substitute in Saturday's victory over
Sunderland - has boosted United's backline, while Ferguson is confident
he has the midfield options to sustain a title challenge.
"People keep saying we are weak in midfield but these guys are very good players," he added.
